Kentucky To Gain A Slimeball

Word is the Memphis coach John Calipari will take the vacant head coaching job at the University of Kentucky. The rumored deal is for 8 years, $35 million. Calipari has coached at Memphis since 2000, and has a 251-68 record while at the school for a winning percentage of .787. Before Memphis, Calipari coached at the University of Massachusetts from 1988 - 1996, with a record of 189-70 (.730).

There is no denying what Coach Calipari has done in his career in making his team a winner. He is a tireless recruiter and a great teacher of the game. With that being said, I cannot stand the guy. I would love for him to go to Kentucky because I hate that school as much as I hate Calipari. It is a perfect match and would love to cheer against Kentucky and Calipari in the future. However, a little note to the rest of the SEC: You guys better get ready because with a school like Kentucky and a coach like Calipari, you are going to be losing a lot of recruits to the big blue.
