The Washington Redskins released veteran offensive tackle Jon Jansen today.Jansen, 33, was once considered one of the best tackles in the NFL, but age and injuries have slowed him the last couple of seasons. Jansen is entering his 11th season in the league. He played all 10 seasons with the Redskins after they selected him out of Michigan in the second round of the 1999 draft.
