University of Tennessee football strength and conditioning coach Mark Smith agreed to part ways after Smith and head coach Lane Kiffin met Thursday.According to ESPN, tensions between Kiffin and Smith have been brewing for some time and it was only a matter of time before Smith left the Vols.
Smith was hired from Steve Spurrier's staff in South Carolina. He was given a $50,000 dollar raise to join the Vols in December, boosting his salary to $190.000.
