The time has finally arrived for Baltimore Orioles Matt Wieters to make his Major League Baseball debut. Wieters, rated by many as the top MLB prospect will make his debut Friday against the Detroit Tigers.Wieters, 23, should take over the starting catching role and is projected to be a big time contributor on offense.
The Orioles are sitting at the bottom of the AL East standings with a 20-26 record. It is highly unlikely that by bringing Wieters up, the Orioles will become a good team, but at least it should give Orioles fans something positive to look forward to.
