Movie Theater Releases July 31

Aliens in the Attic

An animated movie that was co-scripted by one of the dudes that wrote Madagascar and Wallace and Gromit. This will be another "take the kids" movie.

Funny People * Knox Animal Pick of the Week

In this star studded movie, Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen team up with director Judd Apatow in hopes of making the next great comedy. The plot is based around a famous comedian that has a near death experience. This will probably be the movie that I end up seeing from the bunch. I'm not entirely sold that I will be seeing it on opening night, but I will definitely end up seeing it.

The Collector

Desperate to repay his debt to his ex-wife, an ex-con plots a heist at his new employer's country home, unaware that a second criminal has also targeted the property, and rigged it with a series of deadly traps. This sounds like another failed attempt at an action thriller, but who knows it could surprise some people. The idea of this movie sounds cool, so it could be good.

Thirst (Also known as Bakjwi)

A failed medical experiment turns a man of faith into a vampire. This movie will be released in limited locations. It sounds pretty shitty to me.
