Quite possibly the greatest song writer in music history, Bob Dylan, is set to release a Christmas album on October 13 and will donate all his U.S. royalties from album sales to the charity group Feeding America. There were rumblings about a possible Christmas album from Dylan a few months back, but nothing has been confirmed until now. The album, "Christmas in the Heart", will feature such tracks as Little Drummer Boy, Winter Wonderland, Here Comes Santa Claus and many other classic Holiday favorites.
The only problem that I see with the album is that Bob Dylan is singing songs that he did not write. Not only is Dylan's main strength not being showcased with this album, listeners have to endure the pain of Dylan belting out classics with his raspy out of tune sound. However, it's for a good cause, so I support it.
