Hawaii's Air Assault Looks To Kill Bulldogs

When discussing Hawaii football, the first thing that comes to mind is the passing game. The Warriors are ranked second in the county in passing yards with 434.7 yards per game. Hawaii averages 515.3 yards per game in total offense - good for 5th in the country. When the Warriors travel to Louisiana Tech tonight to take on the Bulldogs, you can expect there to be: a lot of passing yards, a lot of offense and a lot of points.

Louisiana Tech (1-2) is a four point favorite over Hawaii (2-1). I think Hawaii wins this one straight up and I will tell you why. Warriors quarterback Greg Alexander can throw the ball very well. The senior has thrown for nine touchdowns, two interceptions and has racked up 1,234 yards in the air this season. He not only throws a lot, but he is extremely accurate, compiling a 67 percent completion percentage. Alexander's top target is junior Greg Salas, who has 20 catches on the year for 479 yards and four touchdowns. Look Salas to be very involved in this ball game as Hawaii racks up a ton of points.
