Top Tight End Daniels Done For Year
Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels was on pace for a 80 catch, 1,038 yard and 10 touchdown season before suffering a season-ending knee injury last Sunday. Daniels was easily the most productive fantasy tight end this season and his absence will surely hurt the Texans passing game.
Daniels was becoming Matt Schaub's number one red-zone target and paired with receiver Andre Johnson, the Texans have one of the best duo's in the league. It could be interesting as the four-year pro is in a contract year. If Daniels can prove he is healthy, the Texans would be stupid to let him go. However, we have seen stranger things in the NFL.
The 26-year-old had 40 catches for 519 yards and five touchdowns this season.
