Vols Frazier Out For Season

Vols linebacker Savion Frasier is done for the year after suffering a knee-injury against South Carolina Saturday. Frazier was filling in at middle linebacker for Nick Reveiz, who suffered the same injury against Ohio earlier in the year.

The news comes from knoxnews.com, that Frazier has a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2009 season. The injury surely presents a problem for a thin linebacking core.

Frazier, a junior, was filling in nicely for Reveiz at the position and the Vols defense will now try to replace two players in the second level. Frazier is tied for fourth on the team with 38 tackles.
