By the name of the bowl, it seems like they would want Air Force to win. However, I am not persuaded that easily. I take the Houston team that was ranked earlier in the season.

Oklahoma vs. Stanford
2:00 p.m. ET CBS
This is one of the more intriguing bowl matchups this year. Oklahoma was depleted by injuries this season, leading to a less than spectacular year. While Standford on the other hand has been a pleasant surprise. Led by senior running back and Heisman finalist Toby Gerhart, the Cardinal will look to pound the ball on the ground. Oklahoma could never really find their rhythm with backup quarterback Landry Jones running the offense. Look for a good game with Stanford pulling it out.

No. 11 Virginia Tech vs. Tennessee
7:30 p.m. ET
The highlighted game of the day obviously and it should be a good matchup. Tech is known for special teams while the Vols special teams has been terrible this season. Jon Crompton and the Vols offense has been rolling in the second half of the season. Tennessee defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin has had plenty of time to work up a scheme for Tyrod Taylor and the Tech offense. If Tennessee can get out to an early lead, it will be awfully hard for Tech to come back in this one.
