The first contestant to leave this week was John Park. He actually didn't sing Gravity by John Mayer too poorly, but it was evident that John didn't have the fan base that some of the other contests have. John's problem was that he tries way too hard in his performances and it came across as very dull and boring.
Jermaine Sellers was the next to leave the show. He is one of the cockiest contestants the show has ever had and frankly he isn't good enough to have confidence. It was only a matter of time before he went home and it just happened to be sooner than later.
The first girl to go home was Michelle Delamor. She sang With Arms Wide Open by Creed and it wasn't great. It was a nice twist on a rock song, but it wasn't anything special. It came down to her and Didi Benami and I actually think that Didi had a worse week, but she has the support of a growing fan base.
Haeley Vaughn was the final contestant to leave the show tonight. She is young and has plenty of potential for a singing career in the future. It was a good experience for her going forward, but her time was not now.
