With five NFL pre-season games tonight, we can finally forget the lockout. It's finally football time and we can move forward. Sure the lockout ended a couple of weeks ago, but until a game is actually played, it is hard to forget.
Sure it's only pre-season, but it's still football. It's the first chance we get to see the NFL players on the field and our first chance to get excited about the 2011 NFL season. With spring workouts being limited, how will the players respond? Will injury totals rise? Will a new team emerge as one of the top in the league? All these questions and more will be answered as the new season unfolds.
It all begins tonight and even though it is only pre-season, it is pretty damn exciting.
