When I first read that Tony Romo promised to win a Super Bowl at some point, I busted out in laughter. Not because I think the Cowboys aren't worthy of achieving such a thing, but because Romo is definitely not going to be the quarterback to lead them to a Super Bowl victory.
It is nice for Romo to have confidence, especially since he is paid to be a leader on the Cowboys. Even though he should be and is expected to be a leader, we know better. Romo has shown glimpses of greatness, but he has also shown equal moments of incapability. Let's face it, Romo is a choke artist. The real question is how long are the Cowbody and owner Jerry Jones going to let Romo lead an underachieving team?
Here is what Romo said via Pro Football Talk:
“This team is going to win a Super Bowl at some point. It’s going to be exciting when that time comes. And when we look back, we’ll know who was on what side of the fence during those tough moments. That’s exciting for us as competitors knowing that we get a chance to go out there and have a chance to win."[Image: Texas Golf]
