Raiders Jason Campbell Breaks Collarbone, Out For Year

When Oakland Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell went down with a collarbone injury after diving for a first down, it didn't look good for a few reasons. First of all, the Raiders have been playing good football as of late. Their offense was fast, balanced and effective and their defense has been solid. Remove Campbell from the equation and it is uncertain how well the Raiders offense will perform from here on out.

Former Ravens first round pick, Kyle Boller, took over quarterback duty after the Cambell injury and was a respectable 8-of-14 for 100 yards in his first action of the season. The real question is will he be the guy to lead the 4-2 Raiders for the rest of the year? The Raiders also drafted Terrelle Pryor in the NFL's supplemental draft this year. After sitting out a mandatory five games of the season, this could open the door for one of the more controversial rookies this season.
