Vols Alex Bullard Working At Center, Stone Back At Guard

With sophomore James Stone struggling much of the season to consistently snap the ball in shotgun, the Vols and head coach Derek Dooley decided to make a change. Enter sophomore Alex Bullard.

Bullard has started the previous six games this season at left guard for the Vols. He and Stone will simply switch positions.

I'm not sure how easy it is to switch from guard to center and as evidenced by Stone's struggles it appears very difficult. I'm not sure if Bullard will be any better, but the Vols coaching staff obviously had enough of seeing Stone struggle as the center. Nonetheless the Vols will have a new center when they take on No. 2 Alabama Saturday.
