report, Manning can increase reps, but still is not able to take on any contact.
This is certainly encouraging news for the Colts, who are 0-11 without Manning. It's hard to think that one player can mean so much to a team, but it is obvious that the Colts are terrible without the perennial All-Pro quarterback.
There has been much talk about what the Colts are going to do in the upcoming NFL draft. It is expected that Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck is going to be the number one pick. Barring any miracles, the Colts will own that pick and will probably draft Luck. The Colts will have a hard time coming up with the money to afford both Manning and Luck long term, so Manning's future remains unclear at the moment. That is of course if he is healthy enough to return to the field.
