Determination: Tim Tebow

Heading into this week's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, not many people gave the Denver Broncos a chance. There was even talk that Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow was going to be benched at some point in this game in favor of backup Brady Quinn. Tebow proved yet again, that he is one hell of a determined football player.

Behind Tebow, the Broncos took a 20-6 halftime lead. Tebow was playing well and so was the Broncos defense. It was all Denver in the first half, but as we have seen many times before in these type of games, it's a tale of two halves. Pittsburgh came out strong in the second half and eventually send the game to overtime as the end of regulation ended with a 23-23 tie. After Denver won the toss, it only took Tebow one play to seal the win.

On the first play of overtime Tebow took the snap from the Denver 20 and hit receiver Demaryius Thomas in stride as he outran the Steelers secondary for a 80-yard score to seal the 29-23 win. The world was officially shocked because Tebow did it again. Tebow finished the game with 316 yards and two touchdowns on 10-of-21 passing.

The key word there is again. Yes, Tebow did it again. We shouldn't be shocked because this is the kind of stuff Tebow did all year, but it is hard to believe. The Steelers were the league's number one ranked defense this season and they couldn't stop the Tebow magic. Tebow may not be the best quarterback in the league, or maybe he isn't in the top half if you are looking at talent alone. The one thing that sets Tebow apart though is his determination. There isn't a player in the league that is more determined than Tebow and it is obvious.

The Broncos take on the New England Patriots next week.
