Jeremy Lin: The Hype Is Real

It's not often that a come out of nowhere player becomes a star. When it does happen, it is usually short-lived. I am here to tell you right now that New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin is here to stay.

I was skeptical at first, like many people - but after looking at Lin's game, it is obvious that he is a natural leader. Through the last six games as a starter this season, Lin is averaging 26.8 points per game and 8.5 assists per game. The opponents during that stretch aren't slouches either as the Knicks won all six games against New Jersey, Utah, Washington, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota and Toronto. Well maybe the only really good ones in there were the Lakers and Timberwolves. Nonetheless, the numbers Lin has put up have been impressive and I don't see his production decreasing any time soon.

Lin magic stayed strong last night as he hit the game-winning three pointer against the Raptors in a 27-point, 11 assist effort. Lin is playing great basketball folks and nobody can deny that.
