Randy Moss Is Back In The NFL

After impressing many with his tryout with the Minnesota Vikings, Randy Moss was given a shot to impress the San Francisco 49ers. Moss did just that and the 49ers signed the veteran receiver to a one-year, $2.5 million incentive based contract that could be worth $4 million when it is all said and done.

Moss has a lot to prove. After a brief return stint in Minnesota and then a brief stay in Tennessee, Moss didn't want to end his potential hall of fame career as a player that could barely find time on the field. Instead, Moss has decided to come back to the league after a year away.

Moss has had more than 1,000 yards receiving in a season 10 times, second only to former 49ers Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice, who accomplished the feat 14 times.

There is no question that the 35 year old Moss has talent. The bigger question is will the 6-foot-4 receiver be able to keep his composure for the duration of an entire NFL season. There is sure to be challenges along the way, but if Moss can keep his head in the right place, he could still be a dominant player in the NFL.
