Vols Ranked No. 23, Gameday Coming To Town

Prior to the first game of the season against North Carolina State I told one of my buddies, we should try and go to the Florida game. We had a little over three weeks to find tickets, and given how things have gone the past few seasons, that shouldn't have been a problem. However, after two wins to start the season, the Vols find themselves ranked No. 23 in the AP poll. To add to the excitement, the ESPN College Gameday crew will be heading to Knoxville this week as the No. 23 ranked Vols host the No. 18 Florida Gators. There goes the ease of finding reasonably priced tickets.

Set aside my personal frustration, the Vols head into Gator Week with a lot of momentum. Big Orange Country has almost forgotten what it is like to have a nationally ranked team as they haven't broken the Top 25 since 2008. ESPN College Gameday hasn't come to town since 2004. September 15 is going to be a special day in Knoxville for sure, and I will be there. Guaranteed.
