Reports Say Jarvis Jones Is Dropping

Reports out of the NFL Combine this week are that Georgia standout linebacker Jarvis Jones is dropping on draft boards and in some cases falling off the radar of some teams. Jones has been diagnosed with spinal stenosis and it evidently has some teams scared.

Jones was originally diagnosed with the condition while at the University of Southern California. It ended up with him not being cleared by team doctors and eventually transferring to the University of Georgia. While at Georgia, Jones excelled and proved that the condition was something that he could not only play with, but play with very well.

In 2012, Jones had 14.5 sacks, 24.5 tackles for a loss and 85 tackles. He was simply a beast on the Bulldogs defense that terrorized every team Georgia played. For Jones to excel this way in the Southeastern Conference, proves that he is a dominant player. It's only natural for a team to pause when a spinal condition like this is present. However, given Jones' performance he is way too good to pass up on.
