Yankees, Beltran Agree To Deal

The New York Yankees and outfielder Carlos Beltran agreed to a three year, $45 million deal according to sources.

It was known that the Yankees wanted Beltran. When they lost Robinson Cano to the Seattle Mariners earlier today, they made sure they agreed to terms with Beltran to acquire a middle of the order bat. This move won't help the Yankees at second base, but it ensures that the pinstripes have a talented outfield with depth.
