Yankees, Roberts Agree To Deal

The New York Yankees filled a need by signing former Baltimore Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts to a two-year deal. The deal is worth $2 million and includes incentives according to sources.

Roberts has spent his entire 13-year career with the Orioles. The two-time All-Star has been a solid player when he is in the lineup, but has been plagued by injuries. He has not appeared in more than 77 games in a season since 2009.

I really like Roberts as a player and it's going to be hard to watch him in the pinstripes.
