Redskins Hire Jay Gruden

After many candidates emerged as possible replacements for Mike Shanahan in Washington, the Redskins hired former Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden as their next head coach.

Gruden has some offensive weapons to work with in Robert Griffin III, Alfred Morris, Pierre Garcon and Jordan Reed. Along with one of the best tackles in the game with Trent Williams, the foundation is there offensively. Defensively is another story. I am going to be very interested to see how Gruden's staff shapes up.

All in all, this is a good hire for the Redskins.
