The Baltimore Orioles woke up in time to sign somebody this offseason. Baltimore inked 27 year-old Korean pitcher Suk-min Yoon to a three-year deal worth roughly $5.75 million that includes additional performance bonuses.
Baltimore hasn't done much this season, despite speculation that they were avidly searching for starting pitching help. When the top free-agent starting pitchers began signing with other teams this offseason, it became unclear what the Orioles true intentions were. While Yoon is relatively unknown, he is a warm body that Baltimore can use to add depth to the rotation.
