Gortat Bringing His Talents Back To Washington
The Washington Wizards took the first step in the right direction this offseason by bringing back center Marcin Gortat with a five year, $60 million contract extension.
Gortat was an absolute monster for the Wizards last season after acquiring him from Phoenix in a deal that sent Emeka Okafor and a first round pick to the Suns. The Polish sensation averaged 13.2 points and 9.5 rebounds a game last season.
By bringing Gortat back, the Wizards only need to resign Trevor Ariza to bring back their starting five from last year's playoff team.
